Tag Rugby

In year 5 you will be learning about tag rugby. This a game where no contact happens so no one will get hurt, you have two tags around your waist. As a warm up you will play bull dog one person is in the middle and the others are opposite and they have to get to the other side without the person in the middle getting you. It is great fun.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     by Jack

Helping Out

In Year Five and six you have an amazing opportunity to help out in younger years. Year Six get the chance to help Year Nursery and Reception and Year Five get to help Year One and Two. You go to their playground and you play with them and make sure they’re okay.It is an activity that has been enjoyed by all the helpful students who went to enjoy their lunchtime with younger students. All you need to do is give your name to the Year Five or Six dinner ladies,(Mrs Staggs and Mrs Newson) and you need to be a packed lunch.

There are pegs for towels, boys are on one side and girls are on the other , the boys are light blue and girls are dark pink. Our swimming teacher Mrs Sales has lost her desk/side because they built a window with a bigger space on the inside blocking out the desk/side. Now she has a chair and and a locker.

Everything Edwards update

  1. Welcome back to our everything Edwards blog, we will be talking about our upper school hymn practice and celebrating old and new hymns. A hymn we have practised last Thursday is called I the lord of sea and sky this hymn is about Genesis one. We sing hymns of Christianity all to deal with God and many others. As we said in our last blog we practiced my lighthouse which in our opinion is really fun.
  2.  Many children love singing therefore love hymn practise. We love leaning hymns and we will never forget them.
  3. Thank you for reading our everything Edwards blog.
  4. Signing off Eve and Samson

Year 5 playground review!!!

IN year 5 we have a playground where  we play fun games. We also have a field were we play a fun game called tag rugby. We have a good time playing this game and we have some wonderful teams there

is red team blue team yellow team and green team this is one of the best team game ever that year 5 has ever played. On the playground we have a basketball court sometimes we play it at lunch time also at breakfast club in the morning the dinner ladies run that.We sometimes get to play football on the field only at lunchtime because at play time we just run around but it is still super fun.We also have a climbing wall and a obstacle course with swings and ropes that you swing on and let me tell you it is fun. If you play it with a good friend or a sister if you have them but if you don’t like I said just play with a friend. I hope you liked this. Hope you come soon bye. From Demi and  Joshua
