Congratulations to the winners of the school’s Shining Star Certificate competition, organized by Mrs Price.  The children received their prizes in school on Friday.  Their designs will be used for the Upper School ‘Book of Shining Stars’ awards throughout the year.

The Enterprise Team

Could these children be the entrepreneurs of tomorrow? They are the Enterprise Team, and are planning and organising our market day, which will take place during the final week of term. Perhaps some of them will be business men and women of the future.

St Edward’s 1st enterprise day!!!

The St Edward’s enterprise day will be the first ever one the school has held so we hope it goes well in case we do it again. Each class will have a budget of £10 and may use this money to buy supplies. They will also need to make a profit from that £10. A small group of children will be setting up the hall and the stalls(each class will have a group of children who run the stall and take shifts to run it). The other children will do some shopping with the £2 that they brought. The class with the most profit at the end will win!
