This week in year 5 we have been learning lots more different types of maths .BUT this week we are going to teach you a specific kind of math that we have learnt.hope you enjoy!
The first one we a going to show you is mulistep addition and subtraction…
There are 7359 fiction books and 2314 fiction books in a liabary 3546 are in the children’s section. How many are in the adult section?
Explanation :
7359+2314=9673 9673-3546=6127 7359-6127= 1232
So the answer is 1232
The next thing we are going to show you is rounding and estimating to check Your answer.
2309456+45678= 2355134

Hello were back with another post about our TAG RUGBY team.
This week like 5S , we have the official team which contains 20 pupils of our eldest years of our school community. In the end of this blog we will tell you one of the people in the TAG RUGBY teams name!
Since the last time we blogged we have had 2 lessons with Scott. In our first lesson we had to try to touch whoever was king or Queen with the ball as a warm up. Then for the real thing we had to get into teams containing the children with red and green tags were a team then blue and yellow tags on the other team. Then we had to line up in our lines and race to the same ball try not to bang into each other then we had to try to score a try with the ball.
So now we are reaching the end of the blog we are going to reveal the two people in the tag rugby team
Brendon AND SIMEON
So now we are at the end of our blog Thank you for reading we appreciate it bye!

The Cosmic Quencher
In year 5 we have been reading the book Cosmic. The main character is a 12 year old boy called Liam Digby . He is very tall for his age.He gets mistaken for an adult, which usually gets him into trouble. He has a friend who is obsessed with celebrities, named Florida. Also his overprotecting parents Mr and Mrs Digby.
We have really enjoyed the extreme intensity of the book.
