Children throughout the school are having fun creating amazing items for sale at our market day this afternoon.
5JP are really proud of their book of poems. They enjoyed creating and sharing them in class this week.
Could these children be the entrepreneurs of tomorrow? They are the Enterprise Team, and are planning and organising our market day, which will take place during the final week of term. Perhaps some of them will be business men and women of the future.
The St Edward’s enterprise day will be the first ever one the school has held so we hope it goes well in case we do it again. Each class will have a budget of £10 and may use this money to buy supplies. They will also need to make a profit from that £10. A small group of children will be setting up the hall and the stalls(each class will have a group of children who run the stall and take shifts to run it). The other children will do some shopping with the £2 that they brought. The class with the most profit at the end will win!
St Edward’s is holding a market on the last week of term(this is the first ever enterprise day) and we hope all the children enjoy the experience. Each class will have a budget of £10 and they will have to buy materials to make things to sell. Each class will have a group of children to collect the money. the class that has the most profit will win and will have a certificate in assembly . You can bring a maximum of £2 .
St. Edward’s is holding an enterprise day in the last week of term. It is going to be packed with fun and games and everybody is going to get involved . It will take the form of a market day as the children sell items that they have made in their classrooms to make a profit which will go to Unicef. I and some others are co-ordinating and organising the day so it can be the best enterprise day ever !!!
