On Wednesday 10th January, our School Council visited the Mayor of Havering, Councillor Van den Hende at the Town Hall.  They sat in the Council Chamber and asked lots of questions about the role of Mayor and the way in which Havering Council operates. Then they had refreshments in the Mayor’s Parlour and had the opportunity to either try on the Mayor’s robes or carry her ceremonial Mace.

As part of our end of term assembly, some Year 2 pupils acted out the Russian folk story of Babushka.
